Permits are available for a holiday or by the year or the day for fishing in the river or on the lake at Rabondanges. Night fishing for carp is allowed in some places. Ospreys are sometimes seen fishing on the lake in March or September. Buy permits : Office de Tourisme, « Panier Fleuri » or PMU « Le Vincennes » in Putanges.

The Orne is in 1st class downstream of Pont de la Villette, common Giel-Courteilles until it enters the lake. Right bank of 2 km to the place called "Les préaux". Camping Putanges.
