A poet and disciple of Ronsard and friend of Baif, he was a literary theorist.
Saint Jean Eudes (1601-1680) - Ri

Founder of the religious cult of the hearts of Jesus and Mary, he was one of the great masters of the French spiritual school of the 17th Century.

Several of his works are still in print.
