Fountains
Fontaine St Martin in Rônai
Most of the fountains in the Bocage date from early pagan cults. These sacred places were Christianised by devoting each to a saint. The example at Ronai dates from the 4th century when St Martin answered the needs of the village by striking the ground with his sword. The resulting spring has never failed.
Other fountains
Sainte-Marie à Habloville et Fontaine de Saint-Clair à Ménil-Gondouin |

"Les Halles" in la Forêt-Auvray
They were built in the mid eighteenth century, and are open to tourists and trekkers (drop the GR 36), who wish to take shelter or picnic (tables and benches).
The sport is showcased in this county : "auvraysiennes strides" in March (running), mountain bike trips in September. In 1969 creates the uphill from La Forêt Auvray, and since then every year a hundred pilots compete to achieve the fastest ascent of a route that is in the eyes of many pilots, one of the most beautiful Normandy. Great drivers like Guy Frequelin and Yves Courage have won several times.
