"La Longue Roche" in Giel-Courteilles Of the forty-odd megaliths in Orne, 7 are around Putanges. The “Long Rock” at Giel-Courteilles is a Celtic dressed stone and is to be found near the bridge at La Villette, off the D781. |

"La Pierre des Bignes" in Habloville This is an impressive dolmen or stone table attesting to human presence here in the Neolithic period. Nearby is a tumulus 40m in diameter. Numerous worked flints and arrow heads have been found. Take the D129 towards the Haras de Fresnay- le Buffard, and it is on the right. |
